This Rope Bridge System includes two Remote Wireless Cameras, one for each end of the rope bridge, to record both partial and completed crossings. Proximity Sensors, mounted on the rope bridge, detect passing animals and activate the associated Remote Camera. Upon triggering the camera will capture single or multiple photos, these are stored to the cameras on-board SD card as well as being transmitted to the nearby Wireless Base Station. This station serves as a central storage unit and mounted in an accessible location allows researchers to download data without having to access the Remote Cameras directly. Additional Remote Cameras can be deployed if required, a single Wireless Base Station can service up to 20 Remote Wireless Cameras within up to 1 kilometre range.
