The 7B Kit provides the ability for multiple viewers to watch the live video being transmitted from the kit's NestBox Inspection Camera, encouraging students to participate in nature. Each kit includes three LCD-18 Monitors providing viewing capability for around 12 students and the ability to record nest box video. Extra Monitors are available in packs of three or five to cater for larger viewing audiences. To order extra monitors use the "Purchase additional LCD-18 Monitors" option and select either a 3 or a 5 pack of Monitors, supplied with chargers and a handy storage case.
The Inspection Camera screws onto any painters extension pole that has a 3/4" x 5TPI male Acme thread. This Monarch 1.8~3.6m pole from Bunnings for around $42 is suitable for reaching nest boxes up to heights of 4~5 metres.
The kit also includes one rechargeable Smart Battery with Nylon Pouch which mounts near the end of your extension pole. This will provide around 6 hours of camera run time. Extra batteries are available to provide additional run time in the field. To order a spare, use the " Purchase spare Smart Battery with Pouch" option.
