The UVSW3 and UMSW3 - 4G family of acoustic wildlife recorders feature dual omni directional microphones and operate in the audible frequency band between 20Hz ~ 24,000Hz (not suitable for bats). Includes the long life lithium 12 volt battery pack at no extra charge. Featuring advanced 16-bit PCM recording technology they accurately capture stereo sound across a wide frequency range with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio making them versatile solutions for researchers and wildlife professionals. Typical audio detection range is 50+ metres, recording commences when acoustic noise exceeds the user defined threshold. High-quality audio files are saved to the device's SD card.

Data Retrieval: The UVSW3 can store up to 530 hours of recorded data to its SD card for collection in the field. The UMSW3 - 4G recorder uses the Telstra 4G LTE network to transmit its 16 bit WAV audio files directly to your FTP server or HTTP cloud server for large-scale ecological occupancy modeling and population trend analysis. Transmitted files can be automatically deleted from the UMSW3-4G's SD card allowing it to operate for extended periods without ever running out of storage capacity.
