Acoustic Wildlife Recorder

Both models of acoustic wildlife recorder are sound activated and employ dual omni directional microphones to detect sounds within the frequency range of 20Hz ~ 24,000Hz out to a range of 50 metres or more. Recording starts once the pre-set sound threshold level is exceeded, the resulting high-quality audio files are saved to SD card. The UMSW3 - 4G model transmits its 16 bit WAV audio files directly to your FTP server or HTTP cloud server via the Telstra 4G LTE network.

The following user programmable features add to the overall versatility of these devices.

• Both models have record duration of up to 530 hours and very low power consumption: standby current of 100ųA working current 10~30mA. Extended periods of field deployment are achievable when used with the lithium power pack provided.
• Featuring advanced 16-bit PCM recording technology and highly sensitive omnidirectional microphones, these recorders accurately capture stereo sound across a wide frequency range with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. making them versatile solutions for researchers and wildlife professionals.
